3 Ways on How You Can Bring Change into the World

Change does not always have to be cataclysmic. It doesn’t have to be drastic. Bringing about a change in the world can be accomplished by doing even the smallest of things that, when put together, can gear our world towards becoming a better, peaceful place. It’s a kind of place where everyone can live in harmony away from hunger, poverty, and cruel injustice.

But given that, we are confronted with the question: what are these “small things” we can do, and how do we actually help to this huge cause? Well, the first thing to do would be to find local non-profit organizations with trustworthy, like-minded people who will be able to assist you in your quest to help. There are a number of ways one can extend a helping hand, and you may find yourself being able to do one, two, or even all of the following:

1. Donate Funds
   The easiest way we can help is by donating funds. We have to make sure, though, that the hard-earned money we give will actually be used to help the less fortunate individuals who need our help. With SapiBon Foundation, Inc., you can trust that the cash donations we receive will be used to provide food for the less fortunate, as well as direct service programs in health centers and schools, and lead advocacy efforts (such as bullying).
2. Donate Food
   If you have the time and are willing to go the extra mile, you can donate food, which we ensure will be received and consumed by the individuals in various communities in need. This can be done through a number of ways; you can register for a Food Drive with us, in which we will be providing you with our Food + Fund Kit that includes a list of top-needed items, and signs for your collections boxes. You can also partner with our Bulk and Retail Donations, in which we rescue food from farmers, grocers, manufacturers, and retail stores that are fit for consumption but are not saleable.
3. Volunteer
   As a charitable organization in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, we also need compassionate, high-spirited people who can assist in the many things we need to do—from acquiring goods through the funds donations, inspecting and sorting out goods to ensure that they are safe for consumption, distributing these goods, and administering our many programs, among others.
